"I've had the blessing of visiting Alam Bazar Shyam Mandir, and I must say it's a truly divine experience! The temple exudes serenity and peace, with impeccable cleanliness and a complete absence of any kind of exploitation. You can pray, meditate, or simply soak in the atmosphere without feeling rushed or bothered.

What I love about this temple is its simplicity and transparency - there's no pressure to donate or make an offering, and the focus is purely on devotion. The location is perfect, and the ambiance is so calming that you can sit for hours lost in prayer or contemplation.
If you're looking for a genuine connection with Baba Shyam, this is the place to be. You'll feel like you're speaking directly to him, without any intermediaries or distractions. A must-visit for anyone seeking peace, solace, and a deep spiritual experience 🙏"🙏 🙏

Words cannot describe the beauty of the Shringar here. Every time I visit, Baba looks more divine. Definitely the best temple in Kolkata for Khatu Shyam devotees.

Visited here on 1st of January to start the new year with prayers and blessings. Very calm, peaceful and beautiful place. The architecture is very beautiful. Usually capturing pictures or videos are prohibited but on that day they allowed some of the visitors including us. Few shops are present in the temple courtyard to buy offerings and to keep our shoes and belongings safe and sound. There is also a underground garage but I am not sure if general visitors can use it or need to take permission /pre-book.

Radhe Radhe..🙏🙏A very beautiful Shyama Mandir, located in Alambazar, Kolkata, is a prominent Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Shyama, a form of Goddess Kali. Established in the early 20th century, the temple is known for its stunning architecture and serene atmosphere. Devotees visit to seek blessings and participate in various rituals, particularly during festivals like Kali Puja. The temple features an intricately crafted idol of the goddess, adorned with vibrant offerings. Shyama Mandir not only serves as a spiritual hub but also plays a vital role in the cultural and religious life of the local community, attracting visitors year-round.. must visit temple in kolkata
